Katrina Kaif is the most sought after star in Bollywood. Katrina's acting career debuted in absolute style with the release of the movie 'Boom'. Boom was focused around Models caught up with the underworld. The movie flopped at the box office nevertheless Katrina Kaif got a good name and fans went crazy for her beautiful face and acting skills.
Katrina Kaif who was not so interested in doing item songs earlier has made some changes in her dos and don'ts list. But the blue film producers has offered her to pay 1.5 crore Indian rupees for Katrina to do this single item song in this mega budget movie. Katrina will work ten days in total for Blue in which she will be seen in a song and a scene.
Katrina and Akshay, who are already one of the hottest pairs in Bollywood movies, will be working together for the fifth time. Apart from Katrina, actor Sunil Shetty has also been signed for the film.

Katrina Kaif's "Blue" is rumored to have a whopping budget of Rs. 100 crore. The movie will be directed by a foreign ad filmmaker named Tony.The movie will be based on the theme of Shipwreck and treasure, thus most of the shooting will take place under water. All the actors have been methodically trained in scuba diving in Bangkok.
Even though the "Blue" film stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, the leading heroine in this blue movie is Lara Dutta and Katrina Kaif is just doing an item song. There may not be opportunities for Katrina to show her acting talent but plenty of scenes to show her other skills like dancing.
With a dream cast of Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta, Sanjay Dutt, Zayed Khan, Bollywood Queen Katrina Kaif, this underwater action thriller directed by Anthony D’Souza will sure be a hit Diwali 2009 release. The music rocks with A R Rahman scoring an unbelievably amazing rock and roll audio.
